Description
‘Green Glow’ is a creeping perennial shamrock (4-leaf clover) with very unique and pretty two-tone mint green leaves and emerald green centers. Forms a carpet from which emerges white clover flowers in summer that are popular with the butterflies and other beneficial pollinators. Also nice as a soil cover and spiller plant in container container gardens and is suitable as a lawn substitute that can be mowed at any time to a desired height…but we think it’s just too cute for regular mowing!
Landscape & Garden Uses
4 Luck Green Glow Trifolium is ideal for use as a low groundcover or border along paths and walkways, or to naturalize in sunny or partially shaded woodland borders. A wonderful addition to mixed container gardens where it serves as both a soil cover and spiller. A fine addition to cottage gardens, rock gardens and green or white theme gardens.
Suggested Spacing: 8 inches apart for mass plantings or solid border

Growing Preferences
Green Glow Trifolium is easy to grow in most any moist but well-drained soil of average fertility and a soil pH between 6.0 and 7.5. It grows well in sun or part shade. We suggest at least 4 hours or more of direct sunlight per day. If desired, plants can be trimmed in mid summer to encourage a flush of fresh new leaves.
