My acoma crape arrived with very healthy foliage and a well developed root system that filled the 5 gallon container. The shape was perfect for training into a small tree (my plan) or to have it bush out into a shrub form. It was 4 foot tall planted and immediately started to grow once planted. The shipping and packaging was great and I am so impressed with the quality and how quickly it started to establish. Order arrived Wednesday PM, June 15 with temperature at 100 degrees. Immediately unboxed, put in shade and soaked root balls. I was amazed at excellent condition, leaves green with no signs of wilt or stress. Excellent packaging. Plants in the ground and watered in on Thursday with temperatures reaching 100 degrees again. Mulch added today, Friday, to complete project. All plants look healthy and I am well pleased. Thank you for healthy plants and your attention to detail. The Acoma came in pruned back to fit into the box, and we were told not to necessarily expect it to bloom the first year – which is pretty typical for newly transplanted plants. So, we put it in the ground, and watered it consistently. A week or so ago, it began to bloom. It is so very beautiful! We are very excited to have this tree mature in our yard! You will note in the picture the stakes, we are training it to grow more upright, then the blooms happened…and the tree started to tilt due to how numerous, and heavy they were!! We ordered an Acoma White Weeping Crape Myrtle from Wilson Bros. after looking all over for one. Who would have thought we’d have to go cross-country to find it in Georgia! The tree was delivered in perfect condition and on time. We planted it almost immediately and we’re now waiting for it to do its thing and become a tree. Currently it’s still in its dormant stage with no visible buds. We have every confidence it will find its roots and become the tree we’re hoping for! ——————— WBG Reply: Hi Dan! We were very pleased upon receiving our Acoma Crape Myrtle. It arrived a few days after ordering and is a very healthy tree. Only a small limb was broke. We followed the planting instructions. Some leaves on the bottom turned yellow and orange at first but now it’s doing fine and thriving. We were skeptical about planting it on June 21st since usually early spring or fall is best planting time but we are keeping it watered during the hot months. My two Acoma Crape Myrtles arrived 10 days from the day they were ordered. They were in great shape and looked healthy and were over 3 feet tall. They should look very nice at the end of my driveway. The packaging was excellent, very protective. I am extremely happy with my purchase.

I am so happy with the Acoma Crape Myrtle which I purchased last year. It was very healthy and had an abundance of White flowers. I was concerned over the winter months as we had such a cold season this year, however with a little pruning and some fertalizer it is now full of new growth. I would give it a five star rating.
